Pass-a-Grille
The art gallery I own with my mother is
located on historic Pass-a-Grille Beach. It is a favorite for
locals and visitors alike, because of its beautful beach, picturesque
cottages, and rich history. Legend has it that back before the
island was settled, fisherman used to stop here to grill their
catch. Passing boats would see their fires and called it "the
pass of the grillers" later shortening it to Pass-a-Grille.
